Set Up Your First Network Controller and Connect Storage

Place and Activate Your Network Controller

Start by placing a Network Controller block in your base. This is the hub that links all your storage and automation together. Right-click it to open its interface and confirm it's active.

Connect Your First Storage Blocks

Place chests, barrels, or other inventory blocks near your Network Controller. Attach them using vacuum pipes or by placing nodes directly adjacent to the controller. You'll see connection lines appear when blocks are properly linked.

Open an Inventory Terminal and right-click it to view all connected storage at once. You should see the contents of every linked chest displayed in a unified interface.

Expand Your Network

Add more storage blocks by extending vacuum pipes or placing additional nodes. The Network Controller automatically recognizes new connections. Use the Diagnostic Tool on your controller to verify all blocks are linked correctly and check for any connection errors.

Tip: Keep your Network Controller centrally located so pipes don't stretch too far across your base.
