Using the Painter

Overview

The Painter is the single tool added by Mo' Colors. Its purpose is to apply color to blocks and items. Rather than adding new colored variants of every block, the mod centers on this one tool that handles recoloring directly.

What It Does

When you use the Painter on a block or an item, it applies color to that target. This means the same Painter can be used across many different blocks and items instead of needing a separate item for each color combination. The exact colors available and how they are selected depend on the mod's own interface, but the core action is always the same: point the Painter at something and color it.

Notes

The Painter is a tool, not a consumable block, so it is the item you keep on hand while recoloring. Because the mod is small and focused, the Painter is the main thing to craft and carry. Check the in-game recipe for how to obtain it, and experiment with applying it to different blocks and items to see what can be colored.
