Miner's Helmet Mod Guide

Miner's Helmet

The Miner's Helmet Mod adds a single wearable item: the Mining Helmet. Its purpose is simple — while you wear it, it provides light, so you can see underground without placing torches.

This makes it useful for caving, branch mining, and any situation where you want hands-free illumination. Because the light comes from the helmet itself rather than a placed block, you don't need to stop and set down torches to see where you're going. The helmet occupies your head armor slot, so keep that in mind when choosing the rest of your gear.

The wiki lists the Mining Helmet under its items section, with additional pages covering processes and related content. For specifics on how the helmet is obtained and exactly how its light behaves, check those sections rather than assuming values. As a small, single-purpose mod, it does one thing: it keeps you lit while you wear it.
