Locating Each Plant Type

Alchemical plants spawn naturally across different environments. Nirnroot grows along riverbanks and lakeshores in wet terrain—listen for its distinctive soft sound to pinpoint locations. Crimson Nirnroot, the rarer underground variant, appears near subterranean water pools deep underground. Deathbell flowers cluster around burial sites and graveyards. Glowing Mushroom clings to cave walls in dark, damp areas and emits light. Hanging Moss grows downward from cave ceilings slowly over time.

Harvesting Strategy

Bring a pickaxe or your bare hand to collect these plants—they break like standard vegetation. Nirnroot's audio cue makes it easier to spot in dense foliage. For Hanging Moss, check cave ceilings systematically as it grows slowly and may be sparse. Underground exploration yields the most variety: descend to caves for Glowing Mushroom, Hanging Moss, and Crimson Nirnroot together.

Store harvested plants in your inventory. You'll use them for alchemy by eating raw samples to reveal their hidden effects, or brewing them into Awkward Potions to discover additional properties.
