How do I start using this mod?

What's the best way to discover potion effects?
Eat raw alchemical ingredients to instantly learn their properties, or brew them into Awkward Potions for a safer method that doesn't consume the ingredient. Once you know an ingredient's effects, you can combine them strategically in brewing to create custom potions.
How do I get started with soul gems and soul trapping?
Enchant a weapon with Soul Trap, then keep a Soul Gem in your inventory while defeating mobs—their souls will automatically fill the gem. Once you have souls stored, place the filled gem in a crafting grid with damaged equipment to repair it.
Why aren't my soul gems collecting souls?
Make sure you have a Soul Gem in your inventory (not just in a chest or on the ground) and that your weapon is enchanted with Soul Trap. If both are present, souls will collect automatically when you defeat mobs.
How do I use poison coatings on weapons?
Brew a harmful potion, then open your inventory and select the potion to coat your weapon with it. Your next hits will apply that potion's effect to enemies, consuming charges with each strike.
What's the lockpicking mini-game and how do I win?

Do I need lockpicks to open locked chests?

How do Standing Stones work and where do I find them?
Standing Stones generate naturally throughout the Overworld as stone monuments. Right-click one to accept its permanent blessing—you can only have one active at a time, and the buff persists even after death or logging out.
Can I change my Standing Stone blessing?
Yes, you can right-click a different Standing Stone to switch your active blessing at any time. Only one blessing is active per player, so accepting a new one replaces the previous one.
Does this mod work with recipe viewers like JEI?
