What Coins Are For

Library Ferret adds five coin items: Diamond Coin, Emerald Coin, Gold Coin, Iron Coin, and Netherite Coin. These are the mod's registered items, and they are the objects you will craft, store, and trade around.

Working With the Coins

Because the coins map to vanilla materials, the sensible approach is to gather the matching resource first and then convert it into the coin form. Iron Coin and Gold Coin are the cheapest to produce, so make a stack of each before touching the higher tiers. Emerald Coin follows once you have a villager trading hall or a mountain mine running. Diamond Coin and Netherite Coin are the expensive end of the set and should only be made once your base has surplus diamonds and netherite.

Storage and Sorting

1. Keep each coin type in its own slot or its own chest.

2. Label chests by coin name so you never confuse Diamond Coin with Netherite Coin.

3. Use the coins as a compact way to hold value instead of carrying raw ores.

4. Before crafting a higher coin, confirm you have the lower-tier coins already banked.

If you are unsure of an exact crafting grid, check the recipe book in-game for the specific coin you want. The goal is simple: turn raw materials into the five coin items and keep them organized.
