Persistence Between Logins
Your stored lapis is automatically saved to the world data. When you log out and return later, your entire reserve remains intact in the enchanting tables.
No Loss on Logout
Unlike lapis in your inventory, stored lapis cannot be lost by:
- Logging out
- Server restarts
- Dying or losing items
- Closing the game
Viewing Your Reserve
After logging back in, approach any enchanting table and open it. Your stored lapis amount will be exactly as you left it.
Long-Term Storage Strategy
Use enchanting tables as secure lapis banks:
- Deposit excess lapis when you have it
- Build up reserves during peaceful mining sessions
- Draw from your reserve during intensive enchanting projects
Server Considerations
On multiplayer servers, your reserve is tied to your player account and saved server-side. This means your lapis is safe even if the server updates or resets player files—as long as your account data is preserved.
