What the Kit Does
The Jeweler's Kit is the mod's central crafting station. Every ring, necklace, and amulet recipe runs through it — you cannot make jewelry at a normal crafting table. Think of it as a specialized workbench for gem-and-metal combinations.
Setting Up
1. Craft the Jeweler's Kit using its recipe (check the mod's process section or JEI/REI for exact ingredients).
2. Place it down like any block and right-click to open the interface.
3. Identify the input slots — one for the metal (copper, iron, gold, diamond, or netherite) and one for the gem (
Citrine,
Jade,
Ruby,
Sapphire,
Tanzanite,
Topaz, etc.).
4. Insert the correct combination and pull the finished jewelry from the output slot.
Common Beginner Mistakes
- Trying to craft jewelry at a crafting table — it won't work; use the kit.
- Mixing a gem with the wrong metal and expecting a specific named amulet — named pieces often have their own recipes.
- Forgetting to bring the kit underground; it's portable and lets you craft during mining trips.
Next Steps
Once you've made a basic
Copper Ring or
Iron Ring, experiment with gem combinations to discover which effects suit you, then work toward diamond and netherite tiers.
