Using Elemental Visions with Genshin Craft or Elemental Reaction

Elemental Visions Adventure Mod has built-in compatibility with two other mods: Genshin Craft and Elemental Reaction. When either one is present, it can replace this mod's default combat system with its own. That changes how elemental damage and reactions behave.

Setting it up

1. Close Minecraft completely.

2. Put Genshin Craft or Elemental Reaction in the same mods folder as Elemental Visions. Use the build that matches your loader and game version.

3. Launch the game and load a test world first, or make a backup of your main world before opening it.

4. Check that the elemental swords and joke items still show up in your inventory.

Checking that the swap worked

• Hit a mob with one elemental sword, then switch to a sword of another element and hit it again. Compare the result with what you saw before the other mod was added.
• If reactions now look or behave differently, the other mod's combat system has taken over. This is the intended effect of the compatibility.
• If nothing seems to have changed, make sure the other mod actually loaded. Check the in-game Mods menu if your loader has one, or look through the game log.

Multiplayer

On a server, keep everyone's mod list the same. Have every player and the server run the same combination of Elemental Visions and the compat mod, so combat behaves the same for everyone.

To go back to the default system, remove the compat mod and reload the world.
