Building and Deploying Drones

The Drones Mod centers on three things: the Drone Constructor, the Drone Disruptor, and the Spawn Drone item.

The Drone Constructor is the block that builds drones. Place it down and use it to produce a Constructed Drone. Once built, the drone operates on its own — you do not need to keep interacting with the constructor to keep it running.

Drones attack with a Drone Laser Beam and a Drone Whizzing Blade of Death, so they are dangerous to anything nearby. Keep that in mind before deploying one near your base or your own builds.

If a drone turns on you or wanders somewhere it should not, the Drone Disruptor is your answer. It disables drones, letting you shut one down without destroying it.

The Spawn Drone item is the other way to bring a drone into the world, separate from the constructor's build process.

That is the whole loop: build or spawn a drone, let it fight, and disable it with the disruptor when needed.
