Tilting the Odds: Netherite for Good Luck, Spider Eyes for Chaos

You can change a Deep Lucky Block's luck before you open it. Combining it with netherite pushes it toward positive outcomes. Combining it with spider eyes invites harsh hazards and chaos.

Boosting Your Luck with Netherite

Use this when you want loot rather than trouble, such as high-tier gear or rare loot caches.

1. Open a crafting grid.

2. Place your Deep Lucky Block in the grid together with netherite.

3. Take the result and keep it somewhere safe until you are ready to open it.

4. If you use a recipe viewer mod, look up the Deep Lucky Block to confirm the exact arrangement.

Netherite is expensive, so save this boost for blocks you open when you most want a good result. Before a big fight is a good example.

Inviting Chaos with Spider Eyes

Use this if you want danger on purpose, such as for a challenge run or to show friends the wildest events.

1. Open a crafting grid.

2. Combine the Deep Lucky Block with spider eyes.

3. Expect harsh hazards. Think mob towers, terraforming disasters or tough enemies.

Before Opening a Modified Block

  • Always open spider-eye blocks far from your base, in a wide open area.
  • Wear full armor and carry healing food. If you have armor with the Phoenix enchantment, put it on. It triggers a fiery burst and revives you when you take fatal damage.
  • Label or store boosted and cursed blocks separately so you never mix them up.
