Why Adjust Windows

Fluid tanks display their contents through glass windows. By default, windows appear on certain faces, but you can customize which sides show glass and which remain solid blocks. This helps with aesthetics and lets you hide certain faces when tanks are against walls or other structures.

Changing Window Configuration

1. Equip a wrench (from Create or compatible tools)

2. Right-click any block of your completed fluid tank

3. A menu appears showing the six faces of the tank

4. Toggle each face between glass (window) and solid block

5. Confirm your changes

6. The tank updates immediately with your new window layout

Design Tips

Use solid faces on sides touching walls or other machines to create a cleaner look. Keep windows on accessible sides so you can visually monitor fluid levels. For massive tanks, strategic window placement can make your factory more visually organized while maintaining full functionality.
