Build a Custom-Sized Fluid Tank

Planning Your Tank

Unlike standard Create fluid tanks limited to three-by-three dimensions, this mod lets you build tanks of any size. Decide your tank's footprint and height based on your factory's fluid storage needs.

Construction Steps

1. Choose your tank's outer dimensions (width, length, and height)

2. Place fluid tank blocks in your desired shape—they don't need to be square or follow the three-by-three restriction

3. The tank will form automatically once the structure is complete

4. Right-click any tank block with a wrench to adjust the glass window layout, choosing which faces display windows and which remain solid

5. Connect pipes to inlet and outlet points on your tank structure

6. Test flow by pumping fluid in from your production line

Tips

Larger tanks hold more fluid but require more blocks. Plan your tank's position near both your fluid sources and consumers to minimize pipe runs. You can stack multiple custom-sized tanks together for massive storage capacity without worrying about the standard size restrictions.
