Finding Your First Legendary Dungeon
Locating Dungeons Through Explorer Maps
Explorer maps are your primary tool for finding legendary dungeons. Search abandoned research outposts and Pillager camps scattered across the overworld—these structures often contain explorer maps in chests or can be obtained through trades with wandering traders and villagers.
Once you have a map, open it in your inventory to see coordinates and distance markers pointing toward your target dungeon. Follow the marked location across the landscape. Large structures like Sky Pillar are visible from considerable distances, so look toward the horizon as you approach.
Preparing Before Entry
Before entering a dungeon, gather healing items and food supplies—beds and healing machines won't function within 150 blocks of major dungeons. Stock your inventory with potions, food, and any type gems or equipment your Pokémon team needs.
Consider the dungeon's difficulty and ensure your party is adequately trained. Bring Pokémon with diverse movesets to handle different floor challenges. Once ready, enter through the main entrance and begin ascending or descending through the dungeon floors.
