How to Craft and Use the Remote Detonator

The Remote Detonator is a placeable block that lets you set off Trigger Bombs from a distance instead of waiting on a fuse.

Crafting the setup

Place a Remote Detonator block down where you want to control the blast from. Craft the Trigger Bomb variants you intend to use — Amethyst Trigger Bomb, Confetti Trigger Bomb, Diamond Trigger Bomb, Dirt Trigger Bomb, Frost Trigger Bomb, Golden Trigger Bomb, Pearl Trigger Bomb, and Slime Trigger Bomb are all Trigger Bombs, alongside the base Trigger Bomb. Each is made through the mod's crafting recipes, so check your recipe book for the exact layout of the variant you want.

Using it

Place your Trigger Bomb where the target is, then interact with the Remote Detonator to fire it. Because the bomb does not run on a fuse, you can position it, walk back to a safe distance, and detonate on your own timing. This is the practical choice for controlled demolition — clearing a wall, opening a floor, or setting a trap you want to spring at the right moment.

Keep the Detonator itself out of the blast radius. If a Trigger Bomb goes off next to the Detonator block, you lose your firing point and have to place a new one. For repeated work, set the Detonator behind cover, load a Trigger Bomb, retreat, and fire.
