Decorated Bed

Decorated Bed

The Decorated Bed is the single block added by the Bedspreads Mod. It works like a normal bed, but its appearance can be customized with decorative covers, letting you change how the bed looks without changing how it functions.

To use one, place the Decorated Bed and apply a cover to it. The cover determines the bed's decorative appearance, so you can match a bed to a room's theme or swap covers later to redecorate. Because the cover is a separate layer over the bed, the underlying bed behavior stays the same.

This makes the mod useful for builders who want beds that fit a specific style. Rather than being limited to the standard bed colors, you can give each bed a distinct look while keeping normal sleeping and respawn behavior. If you only need one decorative bed variant, this mod keeps things simple: one block, one customization mechanic.
