Why Damage Gets Capped

Vanilla Minecraft limits attack damage to 1024. Weapons or items from other mods that try to exceed this will be silently capped, making high-damage gear feel weak.

Enabling Higher Damage Values

1. Open attributefix.json from your config folder

2. Find the minecraft:generic.attack_damage entry

3. Confirm enabled is true

4. Modify the max value under value to your preferred damage cap (e.g., 10000)

5. Save and restart Minecraft

Applying High Damage to Items

You can now use commands or mods to create weapons with higher damage:

`

/give @s diamond_sword{AttributeModifiers:[{AttributeName:"generic.attack_damage",Amount:2000,Slot:mainhand}]}

`

The sword will now deal its full damage value instead of being reduced to the vanilla cap. This works with both player weapons and mob equipment.
