The Move Tutor mod can integrate with economy systems on servers, allowing server administrators to charge players for teaching moves. The most common integration is with CobbleDollars, which uses emeralds as the in-game currency.

How Costs Work

1. Check with your server administrator to see if move tutoring costs money

2. If costs are enabled, you'll see the price displayed in the confirmation screen before teaching

3. Ensure you have enough emeralds in your inventory to complete the transaction

4. The cost is deducted when you confirm the move teaching

On single-player worlds or servers without economy mods enabled, teaching moves is completely free. The cost system is optional and configured by server administrators, so different servers may have different pricing. If you lack sufficient funds, you won't be able to complete the teaching session—gather more emeralds and try again.
