Finding and Locating the Move Tutor NPC

Where Move Tutors Spawn

The Move Tutor NPC spawns naturally in village settlements across your world. They appear as friendly trainer villagers integrated into the village structure, so you won't need to search far from civilization.

How to Find One

1. Travel to any village in your world—these generate naturally in plains, savannas, and other biomes

2. Walk around the village buildings and look for an NPC that stands out from regular villagers

3. The Move Tutor has a distinct appearance compared to other profession villagers

4. Right-click them to open the move selection menu

If you're having trouble locating a village, consider using the /locate village command to find the nearest settlement. Multiple Move Tutors can spawn in larger villages, so if one is busy or you want options, explore thoroughly. Once you've found one, you can return to that location anytime to teach your Pokémon new moves.
