The Amethyst Tools Mod expands crystal gathering by adding two growth levels of amethyst cluster alongside amethyst dust. Where vanilla amethyst only offers a single mature cluster stage, this mod lets clusters progress through an intermediate level before reaching their final form, giving you more control over when you harvest.

Breaking a cluster yields amethyst dust, the mod's core crafting material. Dust is what you work with rather than raw shards, so gathering clusters and processing them into dust is the main loop the mod introduces.

The two cluster levels are distinct blocks: Amethyst Cluster and Amethyst Cluster (Lv. 2). The lower level represents an earlier growth stage, while Lv. 2 is the more developed one. Which stage you break affects your dust supply, so timing your harvest matters.

Beyond these blocks and dust, the mod stays small and focused on crystal progression rather than adding a full toolset.
