Choose Your Play Area

Decide which neighborhood or district will be your game zone. Smaller, defined areas work better for hide and seek than the entire city—they keep the game manageable and ensure seekers can actually find hiders. Popular zones include dense building clusters or areas with many alleys and rooftops.

Establish Clear Boundaries

Agree on which streets mark the edges of your play zone. Use landmarks like specific buildings or intersections as boundary markers. This prevents hiders from running too far and keeps everyone engaged. Mark these boundaries verbally or with a quick tour before starting.

Use Vertical Spaces

Projekt City's tall buildings offer hiding spots on rooftops, in building interiors, and on ledges. Establish rules about whether players can hide inside buildings or only outdoors. Decide if climbing to high rooftops is allowed, as this affects game balance.

Set a Time Limit

Agree on how long the seeker has to find everyone. Longer times work better in larger zones; shorter times suit smaller neighborhoods. A time limit prevents games from dragging on and keeps the pace exciting for all players.
