Red Wool is an item in Minecraft that stacks up to 64. It is crafted from other wool colors, including Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Gray, and Green Wool.
Players place it to put down a block of the same name. It is also an ingredient in 21 recipes, so it serves as a crafting material as well as a building piece.
