Turtle

Mobs & entity

The turtle is a passive animal that spawns naturally in the beach biome. A spawn egg for it also exists, which lets players add one to the world directly.

Players who kill a turtle collect seagrass and a bowl as drops. Because the turtle is passive, it does not fight back when approached.

Animations

7 of these were recorded inside the running game, so the movement is the animation Mojang shipped rather than an imitation of it. Transparent background, free to download.

Stats

Mojang publishes these numbers in the Bedrock behaviour pack (bedrock-samples); the Java edition keeps them in code, not in any data file. Most values match across editions, but not all — treat them as the Bedrock figures.
