Dolphin

Mobs & entity

The dolphin is a water animal that spawns naturally in five ocean biomes: Deep Lukewarm Ocean, Deep Ocean, Lukewarm Ocean, Ocean, and Warm Ocean.

Players who defeat a dolphin receive raw cod from it. A spawn egg for the dolphin also exists, which lets players place one directly.

Animations

4 of these were recorded inside the running game, so the movement is the animation Mojang shipped rather than an imitation of it. Transparent background, free to download.

Stats

Mojang publishes these numbers in the Bedrock behaviour pack (bedrock-samples); the Java edition keeps them in code, not in any data file. Most values match across editions, but not all — treat them as the Bedrock figures.
