Verify Data Pack is Active

Run /datapack list in-game. The data pack should appear in the enabled list. If it's missing, reload it using /reload or restart your world.

Check Mod Compatibility

Confirm that your weapon comes from a supported mod listed in the data pack documentation. Weapons from unsupported mods won't receive custom animations. Also verify that Epic Fight and all required combat engine addons are installed and loaded.

Confirm Combat Mode is On

Some animations only display in active combat mode. Make sure you've activated the combat system (usually a keybind toggle). Attacking while in normal mode won't show the custom movesets.

Reload and Test

If animations still don't appear, try /reload to refresh data packs. Drop and re-equip your weapon. If the problem persists, check that your modded weapon actually exists in your inventory—sometimes mod conflicts prevent items from loading correctly. Consider updating all related mods to compatible versions.
