Get Elemental Essence from Boss Defeats

Which Bosses Drop Essence

Elemental Essence is a rare drop reserved for major bosses only. You'll obtain it from:

• Ender Guardian (Space Essence)
• Ignis (Fire Essence)
• Netherite Monstrosity (Fire Essence)

Regular dungeon mobs do not drop Elemental Essence—only boss encounters guarantee this material.

Farming Strategy

Each boss kill yields 1–2 Elemental Essence. This is a guaranteed drop, not a percentage chance, so every successful boss defeat rewards you with essence.

If you need multiple essence types, plan a rotation across different dimensions. The Nether offers two essence sources (Ignis and Netherite Monstrosity), while The End has only Ender Guardian. Prioritize based on your crafting needs and which boss you can defeat most reliably with your current gear.
