Soul Megas includes Mega forms for Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, giving them significant power boosts. These forms include Mega Rayquaza, Mega Mewtwo (both X and Y variants), Mega Latios, Mega Latias, and Mega Diancie.
Strategic use in battles
1. Obtain or catch the base Legendary/Mythical Pokémon (Rayquaza, Mewtwo, Latios, Latias, or Diancie)
2. Train them to competitive levels before attempting Mega Evolution
3. In battle, trigger the Mega Evolution when facing a challenging opponent or in competitive matches
4. Mega Rayquaza and Mega Mewtwo variants are particularly strong—use them as your team's ace Pokémon
5. Remember that Mega Evolution is temporary; plan your strategy around the duration of the transformation
Team building tips
Pair Legendary Megas with supporting Pokémon that can set up favorable conditions (stat boosts, terrain, etc.). Mega Diancie works well as a special attacker, while Mega Rayquaza excels as a physical powerhouse. Coordinate with teammates in multiplayer to avoid overlapping Mega Evolution strategies.
