Escape a Boss Room Trap

What Happens Without This Data Pack

In the unmodified Passive Mobs mod, Twilight Forest bosses sometimes stop attacking entirely. This leaves you trapped in a boss arena with an enemy that won't fight back, making escape or victory impossible.

How This Data Pack Helps

With the data pack installed, all Twilight Forest creatures remain aggressive throughout their encounters. This prevents the softlock situation where bosses become unresponsive.

If You're Still Stuck

If you find yourself trapped in a boss room despite having the data pack active:

• Verify the data pack is enabled in your world settings
• Check that you're fighting a Twilight Forest boss (not a regular mob)
• Try moving to a different area of the arena—sometimes repositioning triggers combat
• As a last resort, use creative mode or commands to escape

The data pack should prevent this situation entirely, but ensuring it's properly loaded is the first troubleshooting step.
