How do I get Wildfire's Female Gender Mod menus to show up in Russian?
Make sure the pack is active, then open Options > Language and select Русский. Once the game reloads, the gender mod's customization screens, buttons and setting labels display in Russian.
There are two translation sets. Which one should I use?
Use the set that matches your installed release of Wildfire's Female Gender Mod. One set covers the older releases and the other has updated text for the newer releases. The base mod changed its menu text between those generations, so the wrong set leaves parts of the menus untranslated.
Some of the customization menu is still in English. What did I do wrong?
Usually the game language isn't set to Russian, the pack isn't active, or you are using the translation set for a different generation of the base mod. Check all three, starting with the set, because a mismatch only translates the labels that both versions share.
Why do I see weird dotted text like internal names instead of words in the menu?
Those are raw translation keys. They appear when the base mod looks for text the active set doesn't contain, which almost always means the set doesn't match your base mod version. Switch to the other translation set and reload.
Do I need Wildfire's Female Gender Mod for this to do anything?
Yes. This pack only contains Russian text for that mod's menus, so without the base mod installed and running there is nothing for it to translate.
Does this pack change the player model or add new body options?
No. It only replaces menu text, buttons and setting labels with Russian. The proportion and appearance settings work exactly the same as in the base mod.
Will this translate the rest of Minecraft into Russian too?
Vanilla Minecraft already has Russian built in through the Language setting. This pack fills the gap for Wildfire's Female Gender Mod's own screens, so the character customization menus match the rest of the game.
If I play on a server with friends who speak English, will their menus turn Russian?
No. The menu text each player sees depends on their own game language setting. Players with English selected keep English menus while you see Russian.
Does this pack affect performance?
Not noticeably. It is just text files that the game reads when loading languages, so it adds nothing that runs during gameplay.
Should I enable both translation sets at the same time just to be safe?
No. Enable only the set that matches your base mod version. With both active, one can override the other and leave you with English or raw text in some menus.
