With the pack active, the stair recipe gives you one stair for every block you spend. Vanilla gives 4 stairs for the same 6 blocks.
Crafting steps
1. Open a crafting table. The 2x2 inventory grid is too small for this recipe.
2. Place the blocks in the usual stair shape across the 3x3 grid:
- bottom row: 3 blocks
- middle row: 2 blocks, on the left or the right
- top row: 1 block, on the same side as the middle row's blocks
3. Take the result from the output slot. It should show a stack of 6 stairs.
4. Shift-click the output to craft repeatedly until your blocks run out.
The layout is the same as vanilla. Only the output count changes.
Tips
- Either mirrored layout works. The stairs you get are the same.
- Crafting 6 stairs uses exactly 6 blocks, so any multiple of 6 blocks converts with nothing left over.
- If the output shows 4, the pack is probably not active in this world. See the troubleshooting guide for how to check.
