Understanding Reach Differences

Each weapon in Ironbound Sigils has a specific optimal attack distance. Daggers require you to be very close to enemies, while spears and halberds deal full damage from further away. Handgonnes and arquebuses have their own range requirements.

Finding Your Optimal Distance

During combat, pay attention to your damage output. If your attacks feel weak, you're likely too close or too far from your target. Experiment by circling enemies and attacking from different distances until you find where your weapon hits hardest.

Positioning Strategy

Use longer weapons like spears to maintain distance from dangerous mobs. This lets you attack while staying safer from their counterattacks. With shorter weapons like daggers, you'll need to dodge more frequently since you must get close to deal full damage.

Practice in Safe Environments

Test reach mechanics against passive mobs or in creative mode before engaging dangerous enemies. This helps you internalize the correct distance for each weapon without risking your gear or life.
