Upgrade Your Ender Chest to Increase Storage Capacity

Choosing Your Upgrade Level

Each upgrade material adds extra rows to your Ender Chest, giving you more storage space. Iron, Copper, Gold, and Lapis Lazuli each add 1 row. Diamond and Emerald add 2 rows each, while Netherite provides the maximum boost of 3 rows. Plan your upgrade based on how much storage you need and what materials you can gather.

Applying the Upgrade

1. Gather the required upgrade material (Iron Ingot, Copper Ingot, Gold Ingot, Lapis Lazuli, Redstone, Diamond, Emerald, or Netherite Ingot)

2. Place your Ender Chest in the world

3. Use the upgrade material on the Ender Chest by right-clicking it

4. The chest will transform, displaying the new material and gaining additional inventory rows

Stacking Upgrades

You can apply multiple upgrades to the same Ender Chest. Each upgrade adds its rows cumulatively, allowing you to build up to massive storage capacity. This makes upgraded Ender Chests far more practical for mid to late-game storage needs compared to vanilla chests.
