How to Combine Invictus With Other Resource Packs Without Conflicts

Invictus is a full visual overhaul, so stacking it with other packs can cause clashing textures. The fix is controlling load order.

Understanding Load Order

Minecraft applies resource packs from the top of the selected list downward. The topmost pack wins whenever two packs change the same file. That means you can layer a small add-on (like custom fonts or a specific mob texture) above Invictus so only that add-on overrides, while everything else stays Invictus.

Practical Steps

1. Open Options → Resource Packs.

2. Move Invictus to the position that matches your goal:

  • Put Invictus on top if you want its clean style to dominate and only let lower packs fill gaps.
  • Put Invictus below a targeted add-on if you want that add-on's textures to show while Invictus handles the rest.

3. Avoid running two full packs (two complete overhauls) together — you will get a patchwork look because each only covers part of the game.

4. Click Done and check a few blocks, the inventory, and a mob to confirm the result.

If a texture looks wrong, it is almost always a load-order issue, not a broken pack. Reorder and re-check.
