Move Single Items Between Inventories

Using the Mouse Wheel

Instead of dragging items one at a time, use your mouse wheel to transfer single items between two open inventories. Scroll your mouse wheel while hovering over an item to move one copy to the other inventory.

How It Works

When you have two inventories open side-by-side (like your player inventory and a chest), position your cursor over an item and:

• Scroll up to move one item out
• Scroll down to move one item in

This is much faster than the traditional click-and-drag method, especially when you need to transfer many individual items.

This feature is perfect for:

• Depositing specific items into storage
• Withdrawing exactly what you need
• Sorting items between multiple chests without moving stacks
• Fine-tuning inventory organization without disrupting sorted stacks
