How to Use Integrated Villages Create Machines and Doors

Integrated Villages integrates Create mod contraptions directly into village buildings, so you will encounter working doors, elevators, and small machines as part of normal exploration. Knowing how to operate them turns the village into a functional base.

Operating Create Doors

Create doors in this mod are usually driven by a mechanical component rather than a simple hinge. Look for a crank, a lever, or a gear near the door frame. Right-click the crank to rotate it, or flip the lever, and the door should slide or rotate open. If nothing happens, the contraption may need rotational power from a nearby source — check for a shaft or gear connection leading away from the door.

Using Village Machines

Machines placed in village workshops are typically decorative or partially built. Do not expect them to run out of the box. If a machine has an obvious input slot, such as a basin or a depot, you can often feed it items by hand. If it has a shaft with nothing attached, it is inert until you supply rotation.

Making Them Yours

Once you have secured a village, you can repurpose these contraptions. Place a water wheel or windmill nearby and connect it with shafts and cogs to power doors and machines permanently. Use a Create wrench to rotate or pick up misplaced components. This is the fastest route to a fully automated village base without building machinery from scratch.
