When you first join a world, you'll receive a Codex book explaining the mod's systems. Start by finding or crafting normal gear—each piece now has random class stats and attributes like critical hits, lifesteal, or poison.

Build an Infusion Table and feed it lapis, emeralds, or diamonds to generate Arcane Energy. Place your gear inside to level up its stats. Use an Arcane Anvil to reroll stats or remove flaws, or an Arcane Cauldron (with fire underneath) to melt unwanted gear into crafting shards.

Once you have decent gear, craft a Rift Altar to fight timed monster waves. Higher Rift levels drop better keys for bonus chests. Store your collection in the Armory Crate, which provides 91 dedicated slots for class items.
