Obtaining Glowcoke and Crafting

Glowcoke is the primary ingredient for Glowlight items. Defeat Glowsquitos throughout the canyon to collect it, or gather it from naturally spawned piles in certain areas.

Once you have Glowcoke, use a crafting table to combine it with other materials to create Glowlight blocks and tools. These items emit bright light and are essential for building safe bases or marking paths through dark Nether regions.

Strategic Placement

Mark safe routes. Place Glowlight blocks along paths you frequently travel to create visible corridors through the canyon.

Build defensive perimeters. Surround your base or camp with Glowlight to deter some mobs while providing reliable illumination.

Use as waypoints. Space Glowlight blocks at intervals so you can navigate back to base even if disoriented.

Important Consideration

Remember that Glowlight blocks still attract mobs like Glowsquitos. They're useful for visibility and navigation, but don't guarantee safety. Combine them with walls, roofs, or strategic positioning to create genuinely secure spaces. Avoid over-relying on Glowlight alone for mob defense.
