Building the Structure

The Advanced Electric Blast Furnace is a multiblock machine that dramatically improves smelting speed and efficiency compared to standard furnaces. Start by gathering the required casing blocks—typically industrial-grade materials like steel or titanium casings depending on your current tier.

Construct the frame according to the multiblock pattern: a hollow rectangular structure with the controller block on one face. The exact dimensions vary, but most configurations are roughly 3×3×3 or larger. Ensure all casings are properly aligned; misplaced blocks will prevent the multiblock from forming.

Powering and Operating

Once built, the structure will display a green checkmark when valid. Connect EU power cables to the designated input face—this machine requires significant voltage, typically at LV through HV tiers depending on your progression.

Insert your ore or material into the input hatch and configure the recipe using the control panel. The furnace will consume power and time based on recipe complexity. Monitor your power supply; insufficient voltage will cause the machine to run slowly or halt entirely.

Upgrade to higher-tier versions as you progress for faster processing and access to more advanced recipes.
