How to Build a Base in an Incendium Biome
Pick a Defensible Spot
Incendium biomes often feature extreme vertical terrain — cliffs, spires, and floating landmasses. These make excellent base locations because natural walls limit approach angles. Look for a plateau or a shelf against a cliff face where you only need to fortify one or two sides. Avoid building directly under overhangs if you plan to use the space above.
Bring Everything You Need
Since this version removes all Incendium items and blocks, you cannot harvest special materials from the biome itself. Stock up before you travel: a full set of tools, plenty of building blocks, torches or lanterns, a bed, a crafting table, a furnace, and food. Set up a temporary camp first, then expand.
Handle the Terrain
Falling is the biggest danger in these dramatic landscapes. Place fences or walls along cliff edges near your base, and light up paths so you do not walk off a ledge at night. If the biome has floating islands, bridge between them carefully with sneak-walking enabled. Because custom mobs are removed, your main threats are vanilla mobs and gravity — build accordingly, and consider a water bucket for safe descents.
