Build and Fuel Your First Plane

Gathering Materials

Before you can fly, you need to construct a plane. Check the in-game manual (accessible while playing) for the specific crafting recipe of the basic plane model included in your content pack. You'll need to gather the required materials—typically including metal ingots, wood, and other components depending on your pack.

Assembly and Fueling

Once you have all materials, craft your plane at the appropriate workstation or crafting table as shown in the manual. After assembly, place the plane in the world by right-clicking with it in your hand.

Planes require fuel to operate. Open the plane's inventory and add fuel to the fuel tank. The amount of fuel determines your flight time—the mod's realistic physics means you won't simply drop from the sky when empty, but your engine will sputter and lose power gradually.

First Flight

Enter the pilot seat and familiarize yourself with the controls. The manual explains throttle, pitch, and roll inputs. Start on flat ground, apply throttle gradually, and build up speed before attempting to pitch up for takeoff. Remember that realistic aerodynamics apply—you need sufficient airspeed to generate lift.
