Prepare Your Base Before a Village Raid

Fortify Your Position

When you trigger a raid near your base, the Illager Universe Mod spawns significantly stronger waves than vanilla raids. Position yourself on high ground or inside a structure with limited entry points—Prinzologers on horseback and Callologers deal heavy damage in open terrain.

Stock Essential Supplies

Gather healing potions, food, and a ranged weapon before the raid begins. Upgraders will distribute armor to nearby Illagers, making them progressively harder to kill as waves progress. Focus on eliminating Upgraders early to prevent your enemies from becoming too well-equipped.

Use Environmental Advantages

Create narrow corridors or doorways that prevent Prinzologers from charging effectively. Shadow Goats will still rush you, but confined spaces limit their knockback impact. Iron Golems will spawn to help defend, but don't rely on them alone—they can be overwhelmed by coordinated Illager attacks.

Manage Callologer Summons

Callologers use their horns to summon reinforcements and deal area damage. When you hear the horn sound, move away from the blast radius and prioritize taking down the Callologer before additional waves arrive.
