Locate Silver Ore Deposits

Silver ore generates underground between Y levels 45 and -5. Dig down to this range and strip-mine horizontally to find deposits. Use an iron pickaxe or better to harvest the ore. Silver ore appears in small clusters, similar to copper, so explore multiple tunnels to gather enough material for a full armor set and tools.

Process Raw Silver

Smelt raw silver in a furnace or blast furnace to obtain silver ingots. Collect enough ingots for your intended crafting—a full armor set requires multiple ingots, as does a complete tool set. Store extra ingots for repairs and future upgrades.

Craft Silver Equipment

Use standard crafting recipes to create silver tools and armor at a crafting table. Silver gear provides solid durability and protection comparable to iron, making it ideal for early-to-mid game raiding. Once you've collected your first raw silver, you'll unlock the "Shiny!" advancement as a bonus milestone.
