Obtain Double Axe Materials

Double axes are heavy weapons that deal significant damage. Gather the necessary materials—typically sticks and metal ingots (silver or iron)—through mining and crafting. Elite Vindicators naturally spawn with double axes equipped, so you can also loot them after defeating these mobs during raids.

Craft at the Workbench

Use a crafting table to assemble your double axe following the mod's recipe. Double axes occupy a weapon slot and swing slower than swords but deliver much higher damage per hit. They're particularly effective against armored illagers and the Ravager Rider.

Combat Tactics

Double axes excel at breaking through enemy defenses when you have time to wind up attacks. Use them in open spaces where you can maintain distance and swing freely. Against fast enemies like Crindicators, switch to a sword and shield for better defense. Double axes are ideal for clearing groups of weaker illagers or finishing off heavily armored foes.
