Troubleshooting Missing Iceberg Library Errors

Recognizing the Problem

If a mod that requires Iceberg Library is installed but Iceberg itself is missing, you'll see an error when launching the game. The game may fail to load entirely, or specific mods will be disabled with a dependency error message.

How to Fix It

Download Iceberg Library from the same source where you found the mod that needs it (CurseForge, Modrinth, or your mod pack). Place the Iceberg Library jar file in your mods folder alongside your other mods.

For Multiplayer Servers

If you're joining a server and see Iceberg-related errors, the server administrator must also install Iceberg Library on the server. Ask them to add it to their server's mods folder and restart.

Verify Compatibility

Ensure Iceberg Library matches your modding platform (Forge, Fabric, or NeoForge). Installing the wrong version will cause crashes. Check the mod pack or mod description to confirm which platform you need.
