Managing Iceberg Library in Mod Packs

Automatic Inclusion

When you install a mod pack that includes mods depending on Iceberg Library, the launcher (such as CurseForge Launcher or MultiMC) automatically downloads and includes Iceberg. You typically don't need to manually add it.

Manual Mod Pack Creation

If you're building your own mod pack and want to include mods that require Iceberg Library, add Iceberg to your mod pack's mods folder. It must be present for dependent mods to load.

Version Consistency

Ensure all mods in your pack—including Iceberg Library—target the same Minecraft version and modding platform. Mismatches cause crashes or disabled mods.

Updating Your Pack

When updating mods that depend on Iceberg, check if a newer version of Iceberg Library is available. Mod developers sometimes update their dependencies. Keeping Iceberg current ensures compatibility with the latest versions of dependent mods and may include performance improvements or bug fixes.
