Understanding Wing Types

The mod offers three distinct wing aesthetics: feathered wings for a natural bird-like appearance, membrane wings for a darker bat-inspired look, and butterfly wings for bright, colorful designs. Each style has the same flight mechanics but different visual appeal and crafting requirements.

Crafting Multiple Styles

Gather resources for each wing type you want to try. Since recipes differ, you may need to explore different biomes or farm specific materials. Craft several pairs so you can switch between them without constantly returning to your crafting table.

Swapping Wings Mid-Adventure

Open your inventory and unequip your current wings by clicking them out of the chestplate or back slot. Select a different wing type from your inventory and equip it in the same slot. The visual change happens instantly, and you can immediately use your new wings.

Finding Your Favorite

Test each style in different environments—feathered wings suit forests and sky islands, membrane wings look striking in the Nether, and butterfly wings shine in flower biomes. Your choice is purely aesthetic, so wear whichever makes your character feel right.
