Craft and Equip Advanced Armor Sets

Armor Progression

IC2 Additions introduces three major armor upgrades: Advanced Nano Suit, Advanced Quant armor, and Molecular Armor. Each set provides better protection and additional features like flight or damage reduction.

Equipping Your Armor

1. Craft the armor set you want—each piece (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots) must be crafted separately

2. Equip all four pieces to activate the full suit's bonuses

3. Charge the armor at an energy storage unit or charging bench

4. The armor will drain EU as it absorbs damage; monitor your charge level during combat

Using Suit Features

Advanced armor sets often include special abilities—check your keybinds for flight, sprint boost, or damage reduction toggles. Molecular Armor provides the highest protection but requires more frequent charging. For extended expeditions, carry a portable charger or energy crystals to top up your suit mid-adventure. Combine armor with an Advanced drill for a complete late-game mining loadout.
