Mine Efficiently with the Quantum Drill

Obtaining and Powering the Quantum Drill

The Quantum Drill is the highest-tier mining tool in this mod, crafted from advanced components and energy crystals. Once obtained, equip it and ensure you have a charged energy pack in your inventory—the drill consumes power with each block broken.

Mining Strategy

The Quantum Drill breaks blocks significantly faster than standard tools and consumes power proportional to block hardness. Use it for ore mining and hard stone blocks where speed matters most. For softer blocks like dirt or sand, switch to a lower-tier tool to conserve energy.

When mining valuable ores (diamonds, rare reactor materials), the Quantum Drill's speed justifies its power consumption. However, monitor your energy pack's charge—if it depletes mid-mining session, the drill will stop functioning until recharged.

For extended mining expeditions, carry multiple charged energy packs or position yourself near a mobile power source. The drill's efficiency makes it ideal for strip-mining operations where you're harvesting large quantities of ore quickly.
