Craft and Upgrade to Quantum Armor

Prerequisites

Before crafting Quantum Armor, you'll need upgraded energy crystals—these are more powerful than standard IC2 crystals and serve as core components in advanced armor recipes. You should also have access to late-game materials from your reactor fuel processing or mining operations.

Crafting Process

Gather the required materials and approach a crafting table or assembly machine. Quantum Armor pieces (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots) are crafted individually. Each piece requires energy crystals plus additional rare materials—check your crafting grid to confirm all ingredients are present.

Once crafted, equip the armor set. Quantum Armor provides superior protection compared to Nano Suit and includes built-in energy functionality. The armor drains power from your equipped energy pack when you take damage, absorbing hits that would normally harm you.

Keep your energy pack charged by connecting it to your base power network or carrying charged energy crystals. Damaged armor can be repaired at an anvil using appropriate materials, or by charging it fully if the damage is energy-related.
