Setting Up Your First Hydraulic System
Setting Up Your First Hydraulic System
Start by obtaining a
Linear Actuator and
Rubber Hose in Creative mode. Place the actuator base where you want it, then connect the moving cylinder to your machine or load. Attach a Rubber Hose between your fluid source and the cylinder's input. Install a
Pressure Gauge on the hose line to monitor fluid stress and prevent bursts. Once connected, pump fluid into the system to extend the cylinder and lift your contraption. The cylinder's pushing power depends on fluid pressure and viscosity, while the contraption's weight affects how the system responds. Cylinders can span custom lengths in straight paths and work with Hose Pulleys to function as winches.
